Join us for a Taste of Piedmont, sampling wine and cheese from the comfort of your sofa.
The region of Piedmont in the north west of Italy is renowned for its food and sophisticated wine, such as Barolo.
In this online wine and cheese tasting, we will be sampling Piedmont’s lesser known wines as well as its shining star, Barolo, and pairing these wines with four cheeses that represent the traditional taste of the region.
Piedmont, birthplace of the Slow Food Movement, is steeped in glorious food and wine from the rice fields of Vercelli to white truffles found in the hills of Alba and Asti, and the powerful and complex wines from the Langa area, such as Barolo and Barbaresco. We’re really spoiled for choice!
In this online wine and cheese tasting we’re verging away from the typical to discover Piedmont’s lesser known wine (with the exception of Barolo - we can’t go to Piedmont without drinking Barolo!) and cheese.
Each tasting pack is for ONE PERSON and includes:
4 x 60ml wine samples.
4 x 50g cheese samples.
Wine tasting mat and blank wine tasting notes so you can record your verdict as you sample each wine.
Zoom link to the tasting session.
