It has a pleasant bouquet with hints of red summer fruits, plums and pepper.
This wine is velvet smooth and has flavours of cherries and peaches with subtle notes of spices and gentle acidity.
It pairs well with red meats, hard matured cheeses and spicy foods.

Primitivo is one of the most famous grapes in Puglia. Cantina Albea, the oldest wine producer in the region, age their wines in ancient caves carved in the rock with exceptional results.
Cantina Albea's Primitivo matures for six months in oak barrels, which imparts refined qualities to the wine.
