Cantina La Pruina's Primitivo di Manduria DOP is ruby red in colour with purple reflections. On the nose, it has a fruity bouquet with notes of plums, marasca cherry, spicy tobacco and leather. The taste is soft, intense and persistent.
Pair with carpaccio and grilled meat, cheese and salami.
Cantina La Pruina harvests their grapes by hand. Vinification for the Primitivo di Manduria DOP takes place in steel tanks for 8 to 10 days. The wine is then aged in American and French oak barrels for 10 to 12 months.
