This full-bodied wine has refined tannins thanks to the oak ageing with flavours of plums, blueberries and after tones of tobacco and pepper. Sagrantino is a wine for special occasions.

Cantina Pardi harvests their grapes by hand in early October. Fermentation of the grapes with their skins then takes place for eight days in steel tanks. Further elevation takes place in oak barrels for 18 months and steel tanks for 9-12 months before being refined in the bottle for 6-8 months.
