MONTEPULCIANO

The Montepulciano grape, native to Italy, is late-ripening with typically soft tannins and low acidity making Montepulciano wines smooth and approachable. Montepulciano is ready to drink on release but also improves in the bottle for a few years. Expect aromas of flowers, red berries and herbs with flavours of plum, cherry, raspberry often next to earthy notes and a peppery finish.
