Lambrusco is an indigenous and ancient grape family from Italy. Almost exclusively grown in Emilia Romagna and some parts of Lombardy, this grape was known by Etruscan and Ancient Roman societies. The Grasparossa variety produces full-bodied, structured wines with good tannins. Morello cherry and plum are the typical flavours of Grasparossa wines, often accompanied by notes of almonds and herbs.
