Colorino is a rare red wine grape variety only grown in Tuscany. Colorino wines are high in tannins and, as the name suggests, high in colour but do offer distinct flavours. Usually used in blends rather than in single varietal wines, Colorino is the ingredient of choice for most IGT Toscana and some chianti wines.
