Made using Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco grapes, Ca' de Pazzi's Franciacorta DOCG Brut is opulent and refined. It has a brilliant straw yellow colour with fine and persistent bubbles that tantalise the tongue. Every bubble that bursts on the surface reveals a fruity note that leads to hints of white flowers. Drink now to 2025.
Ca’ De Pazzi harvests and selects their grapes by hand. The grapes are softly pressed before fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The wine spends 18 months on the lees in a tightly controlled environment, making its bubbles immediate and captivating.
Chardonnay is arguably the most famous white wine grape in the world. Italian Chardonnays, specifically, are highly regarded and known for their dry but buttery notes. Highly versatile, Chardonnay can be used in blended wines or as a single varietal depending on the terroir where it is grown.
Pinot Bianco (Pinot Blanc) is an internationally recognised grape grown across the globe and is part of the vast Pinot family. The Italian variety is grown mainly in northern Italy and is used in single varietal wines, mainly in Valle d’Aosta, or in renowned blends such as Franciacorta. Pinot Bianco wines tend to be light and crisp with hints of peach and gentle nutty notes.
