Spoletino is a complex yet humble Umbrian wine made exclusively with Trebbiano Spoletino grapes. Pale straw yellow, Cantina Pardi's Spoletino has intense and refined aromas with notes of peach, apple, and white flowers. The minerality and lively acidity make this a bright wine with a persistent finish. Drink now.
Cantina Fratelli Pardi harvests their grapes by hand in October. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks followed by eight months of refining on the lees. The wine then spends a further nine months refining in the bottle.
Cantina Fratelli Pardi, Umbria
The Pardi brothers opened their winery in the early 1900s and they have passed down their winemaking experience to the generations that followed. Just a stone's throw from the ancient walls of the town of Montefalco, Cantina Fratelli Pardi is at the heart of the Sagrantino DOCG area. The 11-hectare vineyards are nestled over gently rolling hills creating an ideal and unique terroir.
Trebbiano Spoletino is only grown in Umbria. Although other similar varieties are grown in other parts of the world, the Trebbiano Spoletino grape is exclusive to Italy. Wines made with Trebbiano Spoletino tend to be dry, floral and fresh depending on the location of the vineyards.
