It is a long-lasting wine that maintains its freshness and fragrance for years. Drink now to 2025.
Santa Clelia harvests their grapes by hand. After soft pressing, fermentation takes place in steel tanks. The wine is then aged for at least three months in the bottle before being released.
Santa Clelia, Piedmont
Santa Clelia is a young business that started crafting traditional Piedmontese wines just over 20 years ago. Located near the small town of Caluso, northeast of Turin, Sanat Clelia’s vineyards span over 12 hectares and mainly grow Erbaluce grapes.
Erbaluce is a native Italian white wine grape only grown in northern Piedmont in the Caluso and Canavese areas. Erbaluce wines are typically dry and refreshing with a distinct floral bouquet and aromas of apple and citrus fruits. High in acidity with a subtle minerality, Erbaluce is also used to make passitos and sparkling wines.
